Words that work

I'm Flavia — a content designer who believes that the best interface copy is the kind you don't notice. It just works.

I started in journalism and moved into digital product design because I was fascinated by how words shape behaviour. Now I spend my days figuring out how to make complex digital experiences feel simple, friendly, and trustworthy.

My approach is research-led. I work closely with user researchers and data analysts to understand what language people use, where they get confused, and what actually helps them achieve their goals.

Outside of work I read a lot (fiction and linguistics), take long walks, and occasionally write about content design.
